Making an Impact in Our Communities

The Salvation Army of Boston is an organization helping those in need. As a community and place of worship without discrimination, the Salvation Army welcomes individuals and families, helps alleviate hunger, combats addiction, responds to natural disasters, and more.

Rosie's Place is a multi-service community center and safe haven offering women emergency shelter, meals, and more. The organization provides one-on-one support, food, housing and job search services, and more in and around Boston.

Rebuilding Together is a national non-profit we volunteer for to rehabilitate homes in local communities. The organization coordinates essential repairs to enable people to stay in their homes by targeting significant safety and health hazards, including cleanliness, contamination, ventilation, thermal control, pest control, and more.

Focusing on providing technology education for young women of color, Black Girls CODE is changing the face of the field by training thousands of girls to lead, innovate, build, and create within computer programming and technology. With 15 chapters, Black Girls CODE is building pathways for a future we can get behind.

The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth (BAGLY) is a youth-led, adult-supported organization committed to social justice and creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) youth. BAGLY believes in creating a safer and more equal world for LGBTQ+ youths of color, transgender, and gender non-conforming individuals, as well as homeless LGBTQ+ youths.

For an organization that fights hunger in its community, Every Meal is filling meal gaps for children with food insecurity in Minnesota. By partnering with communities and schools, Every Meal provides children and families with access to food by coordinating volunteers, developing food access sites, and enabling financial supporters.

The foundation was started in Quito, Ecuador in 1990 as an initiative to help low-income boys and girls affected by leukemia and other blood diseases. Since then, it has registered over 2,000 patients, averaging 120 monthly patients and their families accessing hospital care during their treatment and follow-up period.

As a non-profit dedicated to scientific research for Galapagos Archipelago conservation, Charles Darwin Research Station's remarkable efforts support the biodiversity of the local wildlife. Our contribution supports Ecuador's national treasure by sponsoring the Scalloped Hammerhead Shark, a critically endangered species in the area.

Seeking to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope, Habitat for Humanity's vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Operating from Americus, Georgia, Morris Habitat for Humanity proudly serves Morris and Middlesex counties as a non-profit organization building and rehabilitating houses in partnership with families in need.
